This safe outshines its class with a body pressure-formed from American-made 12-gauge steel, which is nearly three times stronger than the 2mm or 14-gauge steel commonly used in China-built or lightweight American containers. But the true marvel is the Ironside's door, crafted from a 12-gauge steel plate and full 14-gauge inner steel, fortified with a multi-layer 7/16" edge reinforcement, making it nearly six times stronger than most imported safes. The heavier steel, coupled with the Double-Steel Door Casement™, forges a pry-resistant steel foundation. The Ironside also packs security features typically found in pricier safes: four-way active bolt works, door defense systems, a door detent system, Sargent & Greenleaf® lock, and a remarkable one-hour 1400° fire rating. With the Ironside, you'll own a steel fortress you can trust for years to come.
